Honor a Veteran. Share Their Story.
In celebration of Veterans Day, we invite authorized commissary patrons and dependents to submit a photo of a veteran for a chance to be featured in our Veterans Day celebration.
Selected participants will receive a $25 gift card and may have their photo featured in a Veterans Day video. Submitted photos may also be featured throughout the year in the Commissary Sales Flyer and other Together We Stand Strong campaign materials.
We’d love to see a then-and-now photo showing the veteran in uniform alongside a current photo. You may also submit a photo of the veteran in uniform or as they are today.
Rules & Eligibility
- Eligibility is limited to authorized commissary patrons or dependents.
- One (1) photo submission per authorized patron/dependent. The submitted photo must feature the veteran. Photos may be from their time in uniform or from today.
- Then-and-now photos are encouraged! You may submit photos showing the veteran in uniform alongside a current photo of the same veteran.
- Please ensure submitted photos do not include: Children, family members, spouses, or pets (photos with minors require additional release paperwork and cannot be accepted). Visible brand logos, trademarks, or copyrighted images/graphics (including on clothing, packaging, signage, posters, or screens) in the foreground or background.
- Participants must identify their commissary when submitting their photo. Submissions without a commissary identified will not be considered.
- Accepted file formats: .jpg, .jpeg, or .png. Maximum file size is 5 MB.
Photo Use & Submission Terms
No purchase necessary. By submitting a photo, you grant the Defense Commissary Agency and its partners permission to use the submitted photo and associated information for authorized promotional, marketing, and communications purposes, including Veterans Day videos, the Commissary Sales Flyer, Together We Stand Strong campaigns, and other related materials throughout the year.
Selected participants may be contacted for additional information or permissions related to video participation.
All submissions become the property of the Defense Commissary Agency and will not be acknowledged or returned.
